Robert W. Lear
Mr. Lear was formerly Chief Executive Officer of F. & M. Schaefer Company, Executive-in-Residence of Columbia University, Graduate School of Business, an Independent General Partner of Equitable Capital Partners and is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Chief Executive Magazine. Mr. Lear, who is considered by many to be the “CEO’s CEO,” has served on the boards of directors of Scudder Institutional Funds; The Korea Fund; Welsh, Carson, Anderson, Stowe; Champion International; Church & Dwight Co.; Crane Co.; Turner Construction Company and Cambrex Corporation.  In recognition of his significant contributions to its graduate school of business, Columbia University named the Robert W. Lear Amphitheatre in his honor. Mr. Lear is a graduate of the University of Colorado and Harvard Business School.
